Fall Preschool Craft Ideas and Letters D & E
During the last few weeks, I have been working on the letters D and E with my daycare kids. Aside from lots of worksheets, we also turned our letters into some preschool craft ideas.

D is for Duck Preschool Craft
This adorable duck was so easy to make. Simply cut out the letter D, two wings, a circle for the head, and a tail from yellow construction paper. Then cut out a triangle beak and two little feet from orange construction paper. Have your child glue them in the appropriate spots and then add two wiggly eyes to complete your duck.
E is for Eagle Preschool Craft
The kids loved making this super cute eagle. They are huge fans of anything made with their hand prints! To make this eagle, cut out the letter E from brown construction paper. Cut the head our of white paper and the beak from orange paper. Trace your child’s hand prints onto a lighter shade of brown paper and the cut them out. Have your child glue all of the pieces onto the appropriate spots and add a wiggly eye to complete your eagle.
Autumn is definitely my favorite season. The weather is perfect, and all of the colors make it so easy to create some beautiful Fall Preschool Crafts. Here are some of the crafts we made during the last couple of weeks at my home daycare.
Fall Tree Preschool Craft
To make this fall tree preschool craft, trace your child’s hand and arm onto brown construction paper. Cut it out and glue it onto a sheet of white construction paper. Cover the top of the tree with glue and have your child add red, yellow, orange, and green paper squares. I really loved the way these came out. The finished product is a keepsake to treasure for years to come!
Leaf Rubbing
This was a fun preschool craft. We all went outside and collected a variety of leaves. I then taped them to the table and covered them with a sheet of white paper. The kids rubbed the flat side of their red, orange, and yellow crayons over the leaves, making some really near leaf collages.
Leaf Wreath
For this simple leaf wreath, I cut out different leaf shapes out of red, orange, and yellow construction paper. I then had the kids glue the leaves onto a brown circle that was also cut out of construction paper.
Pumpkin Preschool Craft
To make this pumpkin preschool craft, I cut out an oval from orange construction paper and a green stem. The kids glued their stems onto their pumpkins. I then gave them little squares of orange tissue paper. The younger kids glued the tissue paper onto their pumpkins flat, and the older ones crumpled up their tissue paper first. Both ways looked adorable and made some great fall decorations to hang around the house!
Be sure to check back in a couple weeks for more fun preschool craft ideas!
